Allan McWilliams - Winemaker
After gaining an interest in Grape Growing and Winemaking while studying Horticulture at Lincoln College, Allan traveled to Roseworthy College in South Australia where he completed a Batchelor of Applied Science in Oenology in 1989.
He then traveled to the Northern Hemisphere and gained experience in traditional winemaking techniques working in Oregon, Napa Valley, Bordeaux, Piedmont, Switzerland and Southern France, before returning to NZ in 1993.
In NZ Allan has worked as winemaker for Goldwater Estate, Nautilus Estate, Cellier Le Brun and Wairau River Wines.
